The title should be pretty self-explanatory. (That is, unless you don’t know what the hell a Pure Lock is.)

A Pure Lock is a bet that you win, and your win is never in doubt. A Pure Lock is finding an advantage and capitalizing on it. A Pure Lock is what we’re chasing.

Pure Lock #1: Blazers +2 at 76ers

We locked this in at Blazers +5 as soon as the news hit that Embiid was out. Hopefully you did, too.
Second night of a back-to-back for the Blazers would normally be something you wouldn’t want, but Portland will be motivated to put last night’s loss in Charlotte behind them.
What better place for Dame to break out of his beginning-of-the-season funk than Philly? There’s no pressure on him there, the land of Ben Simmons drama which has somehow calmed down?? It’s been quiet. Too quiet.

Pure Lock #2: Bulls +2.5 at Celtics

The Bulls have been playing much better basketball than the Celtics. #analysis
The Bulls bench has a net rating of +1.6. The Celtics bench has a net rating of -7.0.

Pure Lock #3: Raptors at Knicks -7

Toronto has won three games in a row against the Pacers, Magic and Pacers again. Playing the Knicks at MSG will be a wake-up call.
EFG%: Knicks 55.7 (2nd) vs. Raptors 48.4 (27th).
